Hours: 75 (8 hours; Days, Evenings, Weekends)
Salary:
NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)
The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:
1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH ? Rural Sites)
2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000
3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

Qualifications: Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses and Current Nurse Practitioner License is required. The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. Experience working independently with limited supervision. Maintaining certification in BCLS and the willingness to complete certification in ACLS, PALS within two years of appointment to the position are required.
In the event no suitable candidate is found with the above noted qualifications, consideration may be given to applicants who do not currently possess a Nurse Practitioner License, but are qualified to enroll in an approved Master in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner (MN/NP) program. In this case, the successful applicant must be prepared to demonstrate proof of registration/enrollment upon appointment and provide updates based on the progress of each semester of the program.
