As a Recruitment and Retention Specialist, you will play a key role in attracting, acquiring, and retaining top talent. You will actively contribute to building strong, engaged teams aligned with the organization's goals and culture.

You will be involved in both strategy and day-to-day operations - from developing recruitment approaches to supporting onboarding and enhancing the employee experience of new hires.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment process, from job posting to job offer.
  • Develop recruitment strategies tailored to different types of roles: operational, customer service, specialized, and strategic positions.
  • Screen applications, conduct interviews and assessments, and support managers in candidate selection.
  • Administer and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure a professional, human, and efficient candidate experience at every stage of the process.
  • Promote the employer brand and contribute to the organization's visibility in the job market.

Advisory HR Business Partner Role with Managers

  • Advise and support managers in hiring decisions and staffing strategies.
  • Support the development of best recruitment practices through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and managers to prioritize recruitment needs based on organizational objectives.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Design and implement sustainable, proactive recruitment strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Monitor labor market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Analyze recruitment performance metrics and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives aimed at employee engagement and experience.

Onboarding & Retention

  • Support new hires during their first months to ensure successful onboarding and integration.
  • Collaborate on the development of recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Contribute to identifying solutions to improve talent retention.
  • Ensure that managers take all necessary steps to ensure optimal retention of new talent.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of proactive recruitment techniques and sourcing tools.
  • Engaging leadership style with the ability to positively influence stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and a solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
  • Autonomy, initiative, and strong proactivity.
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
