SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Community Mental Health Services for Children and Youth, the incumbent will play a leadership role by planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the services provided based on the needs of clients (children and youth) as part of the integrated Service Delivery (ISD). This person will ensure the quality of services by applying the policies and procedures in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Vitalité Health Network. This person also manages the human, physical, financial and documentation resources under their authority.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of health science or social science in a relevant discipline (nursing, social work or psychology);
  • Eight years of clinical experience in community mental health or addiction services or with clients receiving services with increasing responsibilities;
  • Relevant experience in community health care program management, including human resources management;
  • Good knowledge in the fields of mental health, addiction services and psychiatry;
  • Member in good standing of a professional association;
  • Good knowledge of the laws related to mental health and community resources;
  • Practical knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel;
  • Excellent leadership, high level of initiative and sound judgment;
  • Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities among multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
