Warehouse Order Picker

Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker
Location: Laval
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Wage: $19.50/hour

We are currently seeking order pickers for an automotive parts warehouse located in Laval. This is a very busy distribution centre. We are looking for candidates who are able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain on their feet for most of the shift, and move efficiently throughout the warehouse to pick orders for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and handle orders while standing for the duration of the shift
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy is ESSENTIAL
• Follow instructions regarding item locations and quantities for picking
• Always comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and debris-free work area
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment

Qualifications:

• Driver's license (asset)
• Criminal background check required
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse order picking (required)
• Experience using RF scanners (required)
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player
• Warehouse experience (asset)
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use step ladders
• Ability to lift loads between 9 kg and 22 kg depending on order items
