Success in this position requires active decision-making; operators must constantly monitor gauges and computer interfaces like K-6 and RS-view to adjust process variables such as cooking times, temperatures, flow rates, and ingredient inputs. While experience is not a requirement, we provide full on-the-job training covering GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Aerial Platform, and Forklift operation. A core focus is quality and food safety, which involves constantly monitoring product streams for foreign material and removing defects to ensure only the highest quality products reach our customers. You will also be responsible for machine maintenance, which includes performing corrective adjustments, clearing blockages, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized to meet food safety standards. Accurate reporting is essential, and you will record precise production data such as weights, lot numbers of raw materials, and detailed shift logs. Furthermore, you will handle materials by operating forklifts to feed production lines and manage the storage of raw materials as needed.
