JOB SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Information Management and Access, the incumbent serves as an expert and functional leader to ensure effective, secure and compliant management of access to corporate information. They also coordinate activities, support clinical and administrative teams, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes related to access to information, particularly in the context of community mental health services.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Successful completion of a health information management program recognized by the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA);
  • Significant experience in access to information, document management or protection of personal information in a health care environment;
  • Experience or knowledge of the community mental health sector, considered a significant asset;
  • Proficiency with IT tools and document management systems;
  • Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations governing information management, access to documents and protection of personal information;
  • Excellent ability to analyze, judge and manage complex situations;
  • Strong communication, collaboration and coaching skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and diligence;
  • Functional leadership and ability to influence without hierarchical authority;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
