Newfound Resources Limited is seeking a Logistics Manager to work in the St. John's office. Newfound has been a local leader in the seafood industry since 1986 and currently operates the offshore shrimp trawler Newfoundland Victor. The Logistics Manager is responsible for the shipment of over 400 containers a year to customers around the world.

Key responsibilities include:

• Obtain competitive freight rates and arrange shipment of containers to customers
• Coordinate shipping schedules with customers, freight forwarders and cold storage staff
• Prepare documentation as required for each market, including CFIA Health Certificates, Catch Certificates, B13's, etc and ensure the timely delivery to customers
• Monitor customer accounts and coordinate release of containers
• Monitor and manage inventory
• Review and approve service invoices

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a logistic environment shipping refrigerated containers
• A CIFFA Certificate is an asset
• Experience in the seafood industry is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to work with many nationalities
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
• Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently under pressure
• Experience with SAP would be an asset
• Knowledge of required documentation for various seafood markets would be an asset
