Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm

Wage: $100,000-$140,000K

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our client's growing construction and engineering team. Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and field reviews to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders
• Assist with tender preparation, bid evaluations, and procurement activities
• Identify project risks and develop practical engineering solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong professional relationships throughout project delivery
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in New Brunswick preferred
• 5+ years of engineering experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery processes
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MS Project, or related engineering/project management software
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
