Counterbalance Forklift Operator – Part-Time

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Operator - Part-Time Evening Shift
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. start time, approximately 4-hour shifts. Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed.
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations in Kingston, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials, while also assisting with shipment preparation, product verification, and general warehouse duties.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials
• Label shipments and verify product information and destinations
• Build skids and wrap products to prepare them for transport
• Handle, stage, and organize materials accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the onsite supervisor

Requirements
• Valid forklift certification
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work at a fast pace during a condensed shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
