Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia
Schedule: Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, Ongoing
Pay Rate: $27/hr

Job Overview:

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking a dependable and professional Class 1 Driver to support transportation and logistics operations for a busy food distribution facility in Eastern Passage. This role involves local trips within the HRM area, including airport runs and packaging material pick-ups.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused driver looking for steady local work with no long-haul travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled trips to and from the Halifax airport
• Pick up packaging materials and supplies from local vendors throughout HRM
• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations
• Load and unload materials as required
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, vendors, and team members

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with 2 years of experience in Canada
• Clean driver's abstract and safe driving history
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Comfortable with local HRM driving and airport logistics
