ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services ? Western Zone is seeking a permanent full-time Urologist for Western Memorial Regional Hospital (WMRH) in Corner Brook, NL.
Western Memorial Regional Hospital is a newly constructed, state-of-the-art acute care facility that opened in June 2024. The hospital serves as a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland, delivering a broad range of secondary and select tertiary services to a population of approximately 80,000 residents.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urology (or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)
- Must satisfy credentialing requirements of NL Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive urology services including inpatient and outpatient care
- Perform urological surgical procedures
- Deliver consultations to referring physicians and teams
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary surgical team
- Support person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements
REMUNERATION
Remuneration is Fee-For-Service in accordance with the Medical Care Plan (MCP) Fee Schedule.
