Automotive Services Technician

Location: Enfield, Nova Scotia
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays as required)
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a certified Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join a busy, well-established shop in the Enfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who values consistent work, a positive team environment, and the ability to focus on quality without the pressure of heavy engine or transmission rebuilds.

You'll be working alongside an experienced team in a clean, well-equipped facility, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and getting vehicles road-ready.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, including pre-sale and post-sale checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid services, and tire work
• Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, exhaust, alignments, and A/C systems
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and vehicle performance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Support overall shop operations, including cleanliness and workflow efficiency

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification as an Automotive Service Technician or willingness to obtain
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and basic computer systems
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
