Shoreland Transport is currently seeking experienced Transport Truck Drivers for local, Nova Scotia-based routes. This role is ideal for professional drivers looking for steady, home-daily work while operating safely and efficiently within the province.

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate transport trucks on assigned local routes
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight
• Complete daily inspections and report any equipment issues
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Comply with all provincial regulations, company policies, and safety standards
• Represent Shoreland Transport professionally with customers and the public

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license (Nova Scotia)
• Criminal background check
• Verifiable driving experience
• Clean driving record and strong safety history
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Strong communication skills - written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets (Not Required)

• Experience with refrigerated or food-grade freight
• Familiarity with Nova Scotia local routes
• Strong customer-service skills
