McInnes Cooper is looking for a motivated and proactive Change Management Specialist to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. This position offers flexibility to work in person, or in a hybrid model from any of our seven office locations - Halifax, Sydney, St. John's, Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, or Charlottetown.
As a Change Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Project Delivery
- Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, and outcomes
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Support a portfolio of initiatives within a collaborative, firm-wide environment
- Change Management
- Develop and implement practical, people-focused change strategies
- Assess impacts of change across teams, processes, and systems
- Design and deliver clear communication and engagement plans
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness using meaningful metrics
Collaboration & Advisory
- Partner with leaders, teams, and stakeholders across the firm
- Provide coaching and guidance to support individuals and teams through change
- Act as a resource and advocate for effective change management practices
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
- Contribute to a culture of adaptability, feedback, and continuous improvement
The successful candidate will possess the following skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in project management, change management, or a related area
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives
- Strong understanding of change frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci)
- Knowledge of project management approaches (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Hybrid)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and assess impact
- Adaptability, sound judgment, and a proactive approach
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) considered an asset
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) considered an asset
- Administrative experience with JIRA, including configuration, and supporting user adoption, is considered a strong asset
