Asbestos Worker: 2 Vacancies

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: In person, Halifax Regional Municipality

Work Schedule: 45 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7 - 4 (can occasionally include evening and weekend work based on customers' requirements)

Pay: Depending on experience and certifications

Language: Fluent in English - verbal and written

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Asbestos Abatement and Remediation training and certification with 1 year experience.

Main Duties

• Perform Asbestos Remediation in residential as well as commercial building
• Build Asbestos Enclosures, work in hot and cold weather.
• May include general demolition work such as removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Loading and unloading materials from trucks
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Completing safety paperwork
