Salary (scale): $70,726 - $91,943, 37.5 hours per week

The site supports the offshore oil and gas industry, marine asset refurbishment, maintenance, storage, and emerging defence and security-related activities, with a strong focus on safety, environmental stewardship, and long-term asset value. The Site Superintendent will be based at the Bull Arm Fabrication Site in Bull Arm, Trinity Bay, NL, with standard work hours Monday to Friday.

About the Role

BAF is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the BAF Site. This is an on-site leadership role responsible for health, safety, environment, security, tenant and contractor oversight, site operations, maintenance, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) activities, including regulatory compliance, emergency response, and contractor safety management
  • Serve as BAF's Owner's Site Representative (OSR) for capital and operational projects
  • Oversee tenants and contractors, including orientations, site access, safety compliance, and operational coordination
  • Oversee site operations and maintenance, including inspections, maintenance planning, and third-party service coordination
  • Support asset management, including condition assessments, asset inventories, management of change, and technical documentation
  • Represent and promote the Bull Arm Site to clients, industry partners, and stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology or a degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum five years of related experience, preferably with large industrial or marine facilities
  • Experience with facilities management, site operations, maintenance, or infrastructure assets
  • Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with contractor oversight, project coordination, and asset management
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities
