Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 7:45 am - 4:00 pm | 36.25 hours per week (Summer Hours)

Salary Range: $50,149 - $62,686 per annum

YOUR FOCUS

Reporting to the Senior Director of Service Transformation & Experience, the Communications Officer is responsible for helping plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate ITS operational and project communications.

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of ITS project communications.
  • Gather, determine, and create plans on how to deliver information best.
  • Determine how to monitor and evaluate communications plans. Collect and report on decided measurements.
  • Engage with audiences. Write and share content, create short videos, collaborate on design layouts and image development, work on printed content and develop surveys.
  • Deliver communication plans that meet delivery schedules.
  • Keep up-to-date with communication channels, methods UNB communities can be reached, and changes to communication standards.
  • Monitor standard ITS communications through footprints tickets and outage postings.
  • Plan service and emergency communications.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or another related field.
  • 2 - 5 years experience in communications and marketing.

Additional Strengths

  • Bachelor's degree would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in technology communications and marketing would be an asset.
  • Skilled in the use of social media platforms.
  • Familiar with content management systems would be an asset.
  • Excellent writing, editing and communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, assessment, and time management skills.
