Salary: CG-42 (CAD50.60 - CAD62.05 per hour which includes any negotiated wage adjustment and/or supplement as applicable)

About the Role
Responsibilities
Conduct clinical analysis of prescription monitoring data to identify safety concerns, high?risk medication patterns, and opportunities for improved therapy, and provide evidence?informed recommendations to support safe prescribing and dispensing.
Collaborate with prescribers and dispensers to help clinicians interpret monitored?drug information, assess clinical relevance, consider safer or more appropriate therapeutic options, and coordinate care across multiple providers.
Contribute to program policy and quality?improvement initiatives by helping develop policies, clinical pathways, educational materials, and stewardship strategies related to monitored drugs.
Provide pharmacy expertise across the organization by liaising with other divisions to support operational needs, program implementation, and clinical decision?making.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to advance shared goals related to safe medication use, system?level monitoring, and the overall vision for monitored?drug stewardship.
Manage and safeguard Personal Health Information by ensuring all data is handled in accordance with privacy legislation, organizational policies, and best practices for accuracy, confidentiality, and secure use.

Your Experience and Education
Degree in Pharmacy
Minimum of five (5) years? experience as a pharmacist
Hold a license or are eligible for licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board
Member of, or are eligible for membership in the Pharmacists? Association of Newfoundland and Labrador
Knowledge of PHIA
Equivalencies to above mentioned, will be considered.
