IT Coordinator

Scotian Gold is currently looking for an IT Coordinator to provide support with all aspects of our IT environment and operations.

In this role, you will:

• Offer daily operations and systems support to 80+ system users in various environments including head office, apple production facility and 4 retail locations.
• Provide end users support for MS Office 365, Windows, printers, desktops and laptops.
• Document support requests via ticketing system
• Installing physical IT equipment such as data cable, access points, security cameras, etc.
• Assist the maintenance of Scotian Gold's network by performing general admin and troubleshooting duties.
• Research and develop solutions to improve existing IT systems or processes
• Assist with troubleshooting IT related apple packing equipment (Scanners, production line printers, computers)
• Any other tasks as assigned by management

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• College diploma in the Information Technology field or Computer science degree
• A team player that promotes a positive work culture
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Proven ability to offer excellent internal and external customer service
• A continuous learner with demonstrated research abilities
• Ability to adapt to and implement new technologies and processes
• Self-motivated with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm
