ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services ? Eastern Urban Zone invites applications for an Immunologist to join the team at Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, NL. The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care, share responsibility for outpatient and inpatient services including on-call coverage, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the teaching and training of medical learners. Rank and salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Allergy & Immunology (or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)
- Must satisfy credentialing and privilege requirements of NL Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the Allergy & Immunology program
- Share responsibility for outpatient and inpatient services including on-call coverage
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to the teaching and training of medical learners
- Support person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements
REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Base Salary: CAD 263,672 ? CAD 285,596 per annum
