We are seeking a collaborative and motivated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Administrator to support meaningful connections between students, faculty, and industry partners through real‑world learning experiences.

Salary: $2,067.00 to $2,889.00 Bi-weekly
The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Administrator provides coordinated guidance and support to faculty, industry partners, and students engaged in work-integrated learning activities. This role works collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to strengthen connections between academic programs and industry, while supporting faculty who embed WIL in programs and equip students with the tools and resources needed to independently pursue meaningful placement opportunities.
The WIL Administrator facilitates relationships and shares best practices to enable and promote high-quality experiential learning, while contributing to a consistent, supportive, and student-centered WIL environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with NBCC Schools in the area of experiential learning and work integrated learning.
- Conducting outreach and engagement with new industry partners; connecting new WIL opportunities with both industry partners and faculty.
- Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners and organizations offering WIL opportunities.
- Supporting awareness of the benefits of experiential learning for students, employers, educators, and community; promote the benefits of hosting student interns or participants in WIL programs to potential employers.
- Participating in compilation of institutional metrics and report measures.
- Contributing towards the development and implementation of college policies related to experiential and work-integrated learning.
- Facilitating grant-funded opportunities for students and coordinating such projects.
- Staying current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to work-integrated learning.
- Attending conferences, seminars, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in work integrated learning practitioner work, career advising and student support.
Education and Experience:
A diploma or degree in a relevant area, such as business administration, project management, human resources, education, or other relevant field, with demonstrated related work experience.
Demonstrated experience with coordination, implementation and evaluation of projects.
Technical Skills:
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to use digital tools to support efficiency, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating, implementing, and evaluating projects with a focus on continuous improvement and outcomes.
- Demonstrated initiative in navigating systems, identifying needs, and collaborating to achieve shared goals.
Professional Skills:
- Highly adaptable and proactive, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and innovative thinking skills with a solution-focused approach to challenges.

Assets:
- Familiarity with WIL frameworks, standards, or practitioner communities (e.g., CEWIL Canada or similar models).
- Knowledge of post‑secondary education systems, particularly public colleges or applied learning environments.
- Previous work experience in a post-secondary environment.
This position will require travel to NBCC locations and may require overnight travel. A valid driver's license is required.
