The Opportunity
We are inviting applications from individuals who are passionate about technology and are motivated to make a meaningful impact for the role of Manager, Applications Management. Reporting to the VP, Systems & Quality, the Manager, Applications Management is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and enhancement of Provident10's core business applications. This role plays a key part in ensuring applications effectively support business needs and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Your key activities will include:
- Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core business application enhancements and upgrades aligned to organizational priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
- Oversee the ongoing management, maintenance, and performance of core business applications, including incident resolution and enhancements.
- Manage application release processes, ensuring clear communication to end users and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary vendor contact, overseeing service delivery, SLAs, and vendor performance.
- Collaborate with Systems & Quality team members on cloud and technology initiatives.
- Develop and manage application-related processes, policies, procedures, and annual budgets, and support audit activities as required.
- Provide people leadership by building and leading a high-performing team through effective recruitment and onboarding, clear performance expectations, ongoing coaching and feedback, and fostering an engaged, collaborative work environment aligned with Provident10 values.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in software engineering or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- 5-10 years of experience in core business application management, with proven success across project management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience managing application backlogs and roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective client and vendor relationships while balancing competing priorities and driving results.
Salary Range: $99,700 - $140,500
