Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick is looking for a Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team!
Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, committed and energic individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in the wellbeing arena and contribute to the evolution of strategic development of wellbeing initiatives and systems in direct response to the needs of all employees at Horizon Health Network.

Who you are
You have a worked in the healthcare field for a minimum of five years. You have practical experience in the development and deployment of strategies and initiatives within large organizations. You have a knowledge of mental health, wellness and promotional concepts. Proven writing skills, and facilitation, presentation and/or project management knowledge would be a strong asset. Proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant programs.

Education required:
- University degree or diploma in a healthcare-related field. OR
- Combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
- Minimum five years' experience in the health care field
- Practical experience in the development and deployment of strategies and initiatives within large organizations
- Knowledge of mental health, wellness and promotional concepts
- Proven writing skills, and facilitation, presentation and/or project management knowledge would be a strong asset.
- A combination of equivalent training and experience may be taken into consideration
What you will do
- Facilitation and delivery of training (ex. The Working Mind); delivery of Peer Support sessions; and support new course and program offerings.
- Contribute to the evolution of wellbeing programs and initiatives.
- Work with the Engagement Team to ensure onsite support for events preparation and delivery at URV and actively promote Culture & Wellbeing programs and initiatives throughout the year.
- The ability to establish objectives and to be able to measure them with the help of performance indicators.
- Work in close consultation and collaboration with the managers, the Human Resource team, and targeted stakeholders.
- Communicate recognition programs and EFAP to regional managers and employees.
- Do research and make recommendations for practice improvements in workplace wellbeing and employee recognition.
- Initiate, develop, and coordinate pilot projects for employee wellbeing in the diverse regions of Horizon Health Network.
- Act as an ambassador and resource person for Wellbeing and Engagement and publicize the initiatives among their peers.
- Take part in activities and develop projects related to wellbeing.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external agencies and organizations committed to encouraging employee health and wellness.
