Job Title : Merchandiser
Location: Toronto, Ontario. (GTA & Surrounding areas)
Shift/Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00 am start time.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr + $0.61/KM + $10/day for cell phone data usage.

The position involves supporting a time-limited merchandising project at retail locations such as convenience stores and gas stations across the GTA and nearby areas. Responsibilities include maintaining and arranging branded freezers, adhering to plan-o-grams, and submitting visit reports through the client's mobile app. The project typically runs for approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

Areas to cover: Toronto (East), Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Downsview, Pickering.

Merchandisers are responsible for product appearance and making sure display cases/freezers meet the client's visual and merchandising requirements. These projects often cover a large area and might visit several stores in a day over a 2 to 3-week period.

Job Responsibilities:

• Visiting different store locations within the region. Introducing yourself to the store employees and why you are there.
• Communicating with the client's central dispatch team on store visits and if there are any problems encountered.
• Make sure displays meet the client's visual requirements, clearing away any clutter/debris.
• Make sure correct products are displayed, placing previous products at the bottom of the freezer.
• Clearing away any ice buildup in freezers. Make sure the product is properly displayed and not blocked or covered by ice.
• Following plan-o-grams of the product displays and maintaining inventory of products.
• Removing and installing new product stickers on the top of the freezers.
• Reporting store visits and uploading completed pictures through the mobile app.

Requirements:

• Previous merchandising experience, using plan-o-grams.
• Experience using hand tools (rubber mallets, ice chippers, mounting clips for displays)
• Valid G Class License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Use of personal phone (client will pay daily data reimbursement of $10/day)
• Customer service skills
• Able to work independently and follow specific job directions.
• Driver's abstract
