Eastern Fence Erectors is presently accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant - this position is temporary and open to post-secondary students across all disciplines.
Eastern Fence is Atlantic Canada's largest fence company with offices in Moncton, Dartmouth, Charlottetown, Sydney, Bathurst and Saint John. We provide services to the construction industry, municipalities, governments and the general public.
Eastern Fence Erectors currently has an opportunity for a temporary Administrative Assistant position at our office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time temporary position running from spring until fall (schedule to be arranged with successful applicant). Eastern Fence offers a competitive hourly wage and opportunity for continued work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day administrative support for sales department: data entry (quotation, job file preparation, invoicing), email correspondence, general filing, taking payments etc.
- Greeting customers; in person and on the telephone Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office operating systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong team working skills that enable you to contribute positively to a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to multi-task, time management skills, telephone etiquette skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Previous Office Administration experience would be considered as asset.
