Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce requirements, and role-specific criteria
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, timelines, and talent availability
  • Source candidates using job boards, applicant tracking systems, referrals, talent pools, career fairs, and proactive outreach
  • Conduct prescreen interviews, structured interviews, and reference checks
  • Prepare, post, and manage internal and external job postings
  • Support offer preparation and deliver employment offers in alignment with approved compensation and policies
  • Coordinate onboarding and pre-assignment requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential candidate and employee records within the ATS/HRIS
  • Track and report recruitment metrics including hiring volumes, time-to-fill, attrition, and turnover reasons
  • Identify recruitment trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure hiring and onboarding practices comply with employment legislation, privacy regulations, and corporate policies
  • Respond to candidate and employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner
  • Support employee retention initiatives, including follow-ups and occasional site visits to engage field staff
  • Organize and participate in career fairs, hiring events, and recruitment campaigns
  • Assist with recruitment related HR administration including data entry, reporting, and document management
  • Support additional People & Culture initiatives and projects as required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or Human Resources
  • Completion of a Human Resources diploma or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or HR information systems (HRIS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
