OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Application Specialist to support a client engagement focused on enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives. This role will play an important part in connecting legacy platforms with evolving business needs, while contributing strong technical expertise across application support, enhancement, and solution delivery. The successful candidate will work as part of a broader project team to help deliver reliable, effective technology solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE

• Design and implement integration solutions between AS/400 applications and SaaS-based platforms
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in SaaS integration design to support transformation initiatives
• Develop, enhance, and support applications within the AS/400/RPG environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including business and technical stakeholders, to deliver project objectives
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and effective integration solutions
• Ensure solutions align with architectural designs, development standards, and project goals
• Contribute to project delivery activities by identifying risks, resolving issues, and supporting implementation efforts
• Act as a trusted technical partner to stakeholders throughout the design and delivery lifecycle

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in application development and integration roles
• Strong experience in SaaS integration design within enterprise environments
• Proven hands-on experience with AS/400 and RPG development
• Demonstrated project experience in complex, cross-functional delivery environments
• Strong understanding of integrating legacy platforms with modern SaaS-based solutions
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with broader project participation
