Extended Services Adjudicator

Then we would love to hear from you! WorkplaceNL administers an injury compensation system for workplaces in Newfoundland and Labrador. We promote safe and healthy workplaces, as well as provide return to work programs and benefits to workers and their dependents.
Role Responsibilities
- Determines entitlement to health care benefits and services related to the compensable injury
- Ensures the adjudication for entitlement to benefits and services is completed within a timely manner and is responsive to the needs of the injured worker, employer and WorkplaceNL's client service goals
- Builds strong and effective working relationshipswith allstakeholders
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Two-year Business Administration/Management Diploma supplemented by three years related experience
- Investigative and research abilities, knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of the health care delivery system in the province
- Independent judgement, well developed interpersonal, organizational and analytical and decision-making skills complemented by strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation legislation, policies and procedures that relate to the position would be an asset.

Experience and an educational equivalency will be considered.
