Position Overview

The Sales Operations Summer Student supports the Inside Sales team by processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting with service issue resolution. The role also provides administrative support and collaborates with cross-functional teams, with additional exposure to inventory control, production planning, and related business functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide vacation coverage support to Inside Sales team
• Process customer orders and respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
• Work with inside sales, outside sales, and supply chain to resolve service issues
• Process customer claims and transactions in various systems
• Support management team with administrative tasks and projects
• Additional tasks can include supporting inventory control, production planning, and business enablement teams as required

Qualifications and Skills

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond professionally to customers via email and phone
• High attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders, claims, and transactions
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve service issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new systems quickly
