The Opportunity
The Change Management Lead will be dedicated to the ERP implementation project. They will drive the people side of this transformation—ensuring employees are informed, prepared, and supported throughout the journey. This role will partner closely with the Program Director, Business Process Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to build adoption, mitigate resistance, and embed new ways of working at the NSLC.
This position is for approximately two years to support the NSLC's SAP Modernization journey, which we are preparing to embark on.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Director, Workforce Intelligence and Systems
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop the change management strategy aligned to the S/4HANA program roadmap, guiding principles, and business outcomes.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments across functions within the organization
- Create and maintain the Change Management Plan, integrated with project plans (cutover, data, testing, deployment).
- Build a stakeholder engagement model (sponsors, change champions, super users) and activate a change network.
- Work with the communications team to design and deliver the communications plan (personas, messages, channels, cadence), including executive updates and change narratives.
- Work with the communication team to facilitate town halls, roadshows, demos, and feedback loops
- Lead training needs analysis and role mapping to S/4HANA processes and roles in collaboration with the Business Process Owners.
- Oversee development of training curricula, job aids, quick reference guides, and eLearning modules.
- Coordinate train-the-trainer and end-user training, including hypercare support post?go?live.
- Establish readiness approach and dashboards to track adoption, sentiment, and risk.
- Define and monitor adoption KPIs (e.g., training completion, transaction accuracy, role-based access readiness, helpdesk volume trends).
- Identify resistance, craft mitigation plans, and coach leaders/sponsors to role-model change.
- Identify and address resistance to change, collaborating closely with stakeholders to mitigate risks and overcome challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts, adjusting as necessary to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. Including measurement of benefits realization on high impact programs
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in change management & incorporating them into the NSLC's approach.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to the NSLC's Values & Service Standards
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned; travel, primarily within the province as required.
Qualifications
As a qualified candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience managing complex Organizational Change
- Exceptional facilitation, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with project governance (PMO), agile/hybrid delivery models, and cross-functional teams
As the ideal candidate, you will also have:
- Strong preference for individuals who have been involved with large-scale ERP transformations, SAP S4/HANA an asset
- Change Management Designation, PROSCI preferred
- Background in training design and digital learning tools (e.g., WalkMe, Enable Now, Articulate).
