As a Project Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with the Building Science team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies and procedures during office and field activities;
  • Provide coordination support to Building Science professionals on projects involving building envelope systems, roofing, façade rehabilitation, and building performance investigations;
  • Assist engineers and Project Managers with day-to-day coordination activities such as document tracking, information requests, and internal follow-ups;
  • Support Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) by assisting with background document review, organising field data, photo logs, drawings, and assembling report content;
  • Prepare, format, and organise project documentation, including technical reports, proposals, letters, meeting minutes, and project correspondence;
  • Maintain accurate, well-organised project files to ensure completeness, version control, and compliance with internal quality procedures;
  • Assist with the coordination of site visits, inspections, and field reviews, including scheduling support, access coordination, and preparation of field materials;
  • Collect and provide proper site measurements and information, as required, including photographs, sketches, and field observations for use in assessments and reports;
  • Support internal tracking of deliverables and deadlines to help ensure project information flows smoothly between team members;
  • Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries by email or phone, escalating technical questions as appropriate;
  • Assist with the preparation and compilation of proposals, technical reports, studies, and memoranda under the direction of senior staff.

What makes you unique

  • Post-secondary education in building science, engineering, architecture, construction technology, architectural technology, or a related field;
  • 1-5 years of experience in a consulting, engineering, architectural, or construction-related environment (asset);
  • Exposure to or experience supporting building envelope, roofing, restoration, rehabilitation, or building science projects;
  • Experience assisting with Building Condition Assessments (BCAs), facility assessments, or capital planning studies is considered an asset;
  • Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and/or the National Building Code of Canada (NBC);
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate in English, both written and verbal. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly related to technical documentation, report formatting, and file management;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team and support multiple tasks and priorities in a consulting environment;
  • Valid driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to project sites across Ontario, including remote areas;
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain Security Clearance.

The salary range for this position is $56,325 to $73,927 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
