Warehouse Associate (2 year Contract - Offsite)

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Temporary Warehouse Associate to join our team our Saint John, NB team for an offsite project, as soon as possible. This individual will be on a contract-basis until project completion (anticipated 2 years).

Work Location & Professional Conduct expectations:

1. 1. This role will be offsite, based at client locations (Irving Pulp & Paper). The selected individual will be required to commute directly to/from the client's site (4KM from Source Atlantic head office).
2. Work will primarily be outdoors and prepared to wear weather appropriate attire.
3. The successful candidate will be the face of our company while on-site, so professionalism, clear communication, and respectful conduct are essential.
4. It is key to demonstrate reliability and punctuality, arriving each day prepared and ready to contribute.
5. As part of pre-employment & site-accesses, the selected individual will be subject to mandatory Criminal Background Verification & Drug and Alcohol Screening.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for delivery
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through counts, documentation, and system updates
• Ensure the warehouse space remains orderly and efficient
• Follow all site-specific safety rules and procedures
• Communicate effectively with on-site personnel as well as the internal teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification:

• High school diploma is required
• Experience working in an industrial and/or outdoor environment would be an asset
• Able to manipulate stock weighing up to 50lbs & able to stand, walk, lift, reach, etc for extended periods of time
• Forklift certification would be a strong asset
• Customer-focused and positive attitude
• Strong motivation to learn
• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
• Superior organizational skills
