What you will do:
We are seeking an AI Integration and Automation Specialist to support the translation of identified opportunities into working solutions. This role combines elements of business analysis, solution integration, automation implementation, and technical delivery support, ensuring that AI solutions are effectively configured, integrated, tested, and operationalized.
AI Integration and Automation Specialist responsibilities include:
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and clarify requirements
- Break down problems into clear functional and technical requirements
- Support the design and implementation of AI-enabled solutions and automation opportunities
- Configure and integrate solutions with existing systems, platforms, data sources, and workflows
- Assist in translating solution designs into working implementations
- Support scripting, configuration, and low-code / no-code implementation activities where appropriate
- Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and business teams
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance of solutions
- Document workflows, configurations, integration points, and implementation details
- Identify gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities during implementation
- Support rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement of solutions
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills):
A university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in system implementation, solution delivery, business systems analysis, integration support, or related fields. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Experience gathering, documenting, and clarifying business and technical requirements
- Experience working with technical teams to implement and integrate solutions
- Understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, workflows, and digital platforms
- Experience with AI-enabled solutions, automation tools, or workflow automation platforms (including emerging approaches such as agentic AI)
- Experience with data integration, scripting, or configuration-based implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have (Asset qualifications):
Preference may be given to candidates that possess one or more of the following asset qualifications:
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs), including implementing or supporting solutions that leverage LLM capabilities. Candidates should provide examples in their résumé demonstrating this experience.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud, Power Platform, Azure, AWS, or comparable enterprise platforms
- Experience in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Experience in government or public sector environments
- Familiarity with testing, validation, deployment, and operational support processes

Salary: Pay Band 5 - $67,600.00 to $94,406.00 per annum
