Job Summary
The Clinical Dietitian II is responsible for the provision of clinical nutrition services to pediatric patients of the Children?s and Women's Health Program, Janeway Children's Hospital. This includes providing expertise in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of pediatric nutritional care. The Dietitian will collaborate with the interprofessional health care team and food services personnel in the provision of nutrition care for OBS / Gyne and pediatric services. Based on operational requirements, this position may provide clinical nutrition services to the inpatient and outpatient practice areas of the Children?s and Women's Health program. The Clinical Dietitian II will be required to participate in practice, program and quality improvement initiatives. In support of NL Health Services? Dietetic Internship Program, the incumbent will be required to preceptor Dietetic Interns.
This position reports to the Manager for Dietitians in the Children?s and Women's Health Program and maintains accountability to the Professional Practice Consultant for Dietitians for integrity and professional practice issues.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent from an accredited university program and successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program is required.
Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Dietitians (NLCD) is required.
Prior experience as a Clinical Dietitian with the pediatric population is an asset.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.
