Renée Cormier PC Inc. is a growing and dynamic law firm located in the beautiful coastal Town of Shediac, New Brunswick. We are looking for a motivated, bilingual, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our office. Duties

· Serve as the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors warmly and professionally

· Answer and direct phone calls with courtesy and efficiency

· Schedule and manage client appointments and maintain staff calendars

· Open client files, organize documents, and obtain required client ID and verification forms

· Receipt and process client payments accurately

· Manage payment of office expenses and deposits at local financial institutions

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails, including regular daily visits to the Shediac post office

· Perform general accounting duties (maintaining deposit books, tracking credit card receipts, and keeping records of client payments)

· Enter and maintain data accurately using computerized office management systems

· Support the legal team with a variety of administrative duties as needed

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

· Bilingualism (French and English) - strong written and verbal communication skills in both official languages are essential, as we serve a diverse client base

· Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

· A flexible, proactive, and positive attitude - you enjoy contributing to a collaborative team environment

Skills

· Proven administrative skills with accuracy in data entry and document management

· Experience with office management or accounting software (QuickBooks experience is an asset

· Previous experience in a legal, professional services, or general office setting is a strong asset

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills - you communicate clearly and handle client inquiries with professionalism and discretion

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a busy environment

· Comfort with front desk and reception operations
