SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER- REACT.JS AND PYTHON
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Manager of Automated Compliance Solutions (ACS) is responsible for developing, planning, directing and coordinating application development and maintenance activities for Global Compliance's initiatives. The position involves working with development teams, business stakeholders, and T&O, or vendors, seamlessly managing and supporting project deliverables and budgets. This role comprises organizing, consulting and supporting various development activities including technical design, integration, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance support of various End User Computing (EUC) tools, and business managed / T&O applications.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Develops and implements full stack application solutions by coding, testing, and troubleshooting across front end and back end systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
Collaborates with agile teams, stakeholders, and product owners to gather requirements, address technical challenges, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance system performance and scalability.
Conducts research on emerging technologies and frameworks, leveraging insights to optimize application performance, address complex technical challenges, and ensure solutions remain aligned with industry best practices.
Leads full stack development tasks or projects requiring advanced problem solving and decision making, navigating ambiguity.
Drives decisions on issues requiring innovative thinking and technical expertise and providing recommendations that influence own team and across other work areas.
Independently resolves full stack development related problems by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency within scope of responsibility.
Maintains and enhances relationships with internal teams and external contacts to deliver measurable business outcomes
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Problem solving / analytic skills and ability to resolve business and technical issues.
Experience with projects involving integration of disparate types of technologies and platforms.
Experience with various technologies including React.js, python, ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, and Teradata.
Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, and audit requirement.
Knowledge of bank-wide structure and organization, businesses and operations.
Knowledge of AML Compliance guidelines and regulations (FINTRAC Filing Specifications, F2R).
Knowledge of AML/AT legislation, practices and principles, as well as RBC internal AML/AT policies or equivalent
Nice-to-have: Think of things if they had would help them ramp up faster in the job or give them an edge over other candidates
Experience working on cloud environments.
