Job Description

RBC's Digital team is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Digital Product Owner to lead the evolution of NOMI, our innovative digital money management platform. Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Trust, you will be the driving force behind NOMI's product vision, strategy, and go-to-market execution. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with mobile, design, engineering, and business partners to deliver a best-in-class digital money management experience that empowers RBC customers to take control of their finances. You will own the product roadmap, define key success metrics, and champion a mobile-first redesign that positions NOMI as a market leader in the fintech landscape.

What will you do?

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with RBC's digital strategy and customer needs. Define product vision, strategy, and long-term initiatives for NOMI while balancing innovation with business priorities.

  • Mobile Redesign Leadership: Lead the redesign and modernization of the NOMI mobile experience. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and engineering teams to ensure a seamless, intuitive user interface that drives engagement and customer satisfaction.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for major product launches and feature releases. Coordinate messaging, timing, and cross-functional activation plans to maximize customer adoption and market impact.

  • Stakeholder & Partner Management: Act as the key liaison between product, mobile engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners to identify opportunities, align on priorities, and remove blockers.

  • Performance Metrics & Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs for NOMI. Conduct regular customer and product analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.

  • Customer Discovery & Opportunity Analysis: Stay deeply connected to customer needs through research, user testing, and feedback mechanisms. Translate customer insights into product features and enhancements that drive business value and customer loyalty.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with designers, engineers, delivery leads, product managers, and subject matter experts to define requirements, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality digital experiences.
