WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Director – Enterprise Platforms Integration is a leadership role combining embedded engineering mindset and delivery expertise, responsible for leading the execution of large, cross-functional, complex initiatives impacting US Corporate functions, RBC technology, and CNB and RBC business stakeholders. This role merges Portfolio Management and Engineering delivery expertise with strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership to translate strategic priorities into executable programs delivered on time and within budget, while driving measurable business value across CNB and RBC operations. The role will partner closely with technology teams across the US and Canada to establish program governance, manage multi-workstream initiatives, and ensure alignment between program deliverables and US Technology strategy and Target Operating Model.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Technology Modernization – Drive CNB to RBC/GFT integration

Integration

  • Oversee and drive the integration of CNB entities, ensuring seamless business adoption of target solutions in collaboration with Target Tech teams. Consolidate applications from CNB Corporate Function Tech to Target RBC Common Platform through strategic alignment with business stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on management of integration application plans, leveraging AI solutions from conception through production deployment, including architecture changes and committed delivery timelines.
  • Resolve cross-functional challenges.

Architecture & Governance

  • Drive solution architecture and engineering design decisions for integration and platform considerations.
  • Govern executive-owned, integration-specific Steering Committee and Operations Committee meetings, ensuring alignment with direct line responsibilities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submissions to external Steering Committee and Operations Committee meetings.
  • Ensure program deliverables remain aligned with evolving technology strategy and architecture. Monitor other strategic priorities that could impact program direction.

Engineering Leadership and Delivery

  • Own engineering execution across design, build, testing, and deployment for core AML/Fraud/HR CNB Functions technology areas.
  • Establish scalable engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and AI integration capabilities.
  • Manage engineering capacity, vendor teams, and delivery accountability.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of integrated solutions.
  • Drive core architecture blueprint mapping from initiative conception through program finalization and PAR efforts.
  • Drive execution excellence through agile program management practices, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven end-to-end program delivery transformations, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI strategy and governance frameworks.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Engineering Leadership and Delivery

  • Establish scalable engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and AI integration capabilities.
  • Manage engineering capacity, vendor teams, and delivery accountability.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of integrated solutions.
  • Drive core architecture blueprint mapping from initiative conception through program finalization and PAR efforts.
  • Drive execution excellence through agile program management practices, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven end-to-end program delivery transformations, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI strategy and governance frameworks.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience building or modernizing research, publishing, or content management platforms, particularly those serving financial services or investment research clients.
  • Familiarity with generative AI models and their practical applications in enterprise software, content automation, or analytics workflows.
  • Background in financial services, capital markets technology, or investment research businesses.
  • Track record of building high-performing, inclusive teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
