What is the opportunity?
In this position, you will be accountable for providing high quality client service to an assigned group of Investment Managers, through the management of day-to-day account activity, ensuring that client service is a priority when dealing with and responding to day-to-day queries and requests. You will ensure a superior level of service is maintained at all times, share knowledge of pending issues and escalates items where necessary to the line manager or the relevant Client Managers (CM). Working in collaboration with Client Managers and other groups within Client Services and Operations, you will promptly resolve queries and assist in the development of solutions to address clients' needs and or issues. In addition, you will be accountable for ensuring all risk management and compliance policies are adhered to.
What will you do?
QUALITY SERVICE
Resolve Security Trade Settlement queries; liaise with Investment Managers and internal business units
Provide a high level of client service by responding promptly and accurately to daily queries from In and requests from Investment Managers regarding the trade activity of accounts managed, in accordance with established Service Level Standards. Respond to requests received via email and telephone.
Anticipate issues and proactively work to address concerns before they escalate and ensure all issues are logged on the internal query tracking tools for proper resolution.
ADMINISTRATION / MANAGEMENT
Ensure that up-to-date desk operating procedures are maintained and accessible to team members and specific daily administrative procedures are clearly documented.
Assist Management by preparing reports and other packages for analysis
Minimize Errors & Omission (E&O) occurrences through effective issue management and general attention to detail.
Provide high level support for Trade Representative team, arrange coverage in instances of absence
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
University degree in business administration, finance or equivalent
Minimum of three years' experience in Financial services industry (Global Custody/Investment Management/Fund Administration/Transfer Agency, or other relevant Financial Services experience)
Experience with Security Trade Settlement
Experience in client service roles in Financial Sector
Nice to have
Familiarity with Investor Services systems & platforms
Recognized financial industry qualifications (i.e. Canadian securities course or IFIC)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
