OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Mariner Innovations is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support a client project based in Alberta. The ideal candidate brings strong full-stack experience across both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on AWS serverless architectures, modern web frameworks, and scalable application design.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

• Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions.
• Develop new features, enhancements, and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms.
• Build and support full-stack applications across front-end and back-end components.
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS serverless services.
• Contribute to microservices-based architectures and modern application design patterns.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements, technical designs, and delivery expectations.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to functional documentation as needed.
• Identify technical issues, risks, and dependencies, and help drive resolution.
• Participate in agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices in full-stack and cloud development.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience using C# and Java.
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS, with a strong preference for serverless development (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• 3+ years of experience with Angular or React.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end full-stack solutions (not limited to front-end or back-end only).
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Must be located in Alberta.
