ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services ? Labrador-Grenfell Zone is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join the team at the White Bay Central Health Centre in Roddickton, NL. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope family medicine in a collaborative environment while contributing to high-quality patient care in the region. This opportunity is available immediately.
Roddickton is a welcoming community on the Northern Peninsula, offering a safe and family-friendly environment surrounded by spectacular scenery and outstanding outdoor recreation. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad scope of practice and work closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)
- Must satisfy credentialing requirements of the Labrador-Grenfell Zone
- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Relevant clinical experience (asset)
- Satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority
- Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full scope of practice including obstetrics, emergency medicine, and family medicine
- Provide on-call coverage including weekends and holidays
- Work collaboratively with a team of physicians and nurses to deliver required services
- Support person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements
REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Available Incentives:
- Physician Signing Bonus ? $150,000 + $25,000 top-up
- Physician Recruitment Incentive Pilot ? $300,000 ($150,000 per year)
- Come Home Incentive ? $100,000 (if eligibility criteria are met)
- Approved relocation expenses paid at 100% with a two-year commitment to NL Health Services
