JOB SUMMARY :

Under the supervision of the CIS manager, the clinical advisor in digital health is a healthcare professional who uses their expertise to optimize clinical practices through digital technologies. As part of their duties, they participate in identifying clinical needs and in the development, implementation, configuration, maintenance, support, and evaluation of electronic record-keeping tools. Their role also includes participating in the standardization of documentation practices and clinical processes, as well as researching and sharing information with clinical partners to ensure the consistency, relevance, and optimization of the digital solutions implemented.This role involves regular on-site presence with clinical teams, promoting understanding of operational realities, training, coaching, and mobilization of best practices in digital health.

EXIGENCES :

  • Registration with the New Brunswick Nurses Association;
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience demonstrating progressive leadership in healthcare and professional practice, such as preceptorship, mentoring new employees, leadership at the management level, and involvement in professional association;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of software commonly used within the Network;
  • Knowledge of digital health considered an asset;
  • Ability to promote interdisciplinary communication;
  • Proven ability to work in a decentralized care model, in an advisory and facilitative role;
  • Proven ability to organize and manage work and work independently;
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Proven teaching, communication, and interprofessional relationship skills;
  • Proven ability to function in a changing work environment;
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with partners inside and outside the Network;
  • Strong interest in furthering knowledge;
  • Interest in innovation and electronic solutions;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with Vitalité Health Network confidentiality rules.
