ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services ? Labrador-Grenfell Zone is seeking a General Internist to join the team at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment while contributing to high-quality patient care in the region.
St. Anthony is a scenic coastal community offering a safe and welcoming environment with access to outstanding outdoor recreation. The successful candidate will enjoy a broad scope of practice and work closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine
- Relevant clinical experience (preferred)
- Satisfactory Certificate of Conduct
- Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinical services in Internal Medicine within scope of practice
- Participate in inpatient care, including ICU coverage as required
- Provide consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing patient management
- Support outpatient and ambulatory clinic services
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Support person- and family-centered care
- Promote patient and workplace safety
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Base Salary: $263,672 ? $285,596
(Not including retention bonus, recognition of on-call responsibilities, and other applicable premiums.)
Available Incentives:
- Physician Signing Bonus ? $150,000 + applicable top-up
- Come Home Incentive ? $100,000 (if eligible)
- Approved relocation expenses paid at 100% with a two-year commitment to NL Health Services
