As Director of Strategic Growth (NL) with Prime Creative, you'll help us write our next chapter in creative marketing.

Prime Creative is a seasoned creative studio with deep roots in St. John's, NL and a growing home in Moncton, NB. We've spent decades finding story in the everyday and helping Atlantic Canadian brands share theirs with honesty, warmth, and heart.

This is not a sit?back?and?wait role. You'll be out in the market, building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning good conversations into creative work for Prime Creative's St-John's office. You're someone who understands how agencies work, how clients buy, and how to connect the two in a way that feels smart, honest, and sustainable. That means representing Prime Creative at local networking events, engaging meaningfully with the business community, supporting the development of proposals, and identifying opportunities that align with our values and strengths.

You'll work closely with our leadership and account teams to shape where we're going, not just react to what's in front of us.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and executing a clear growth plan to expand Prime Creative's presence and revenue in Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Connecting with prospects, sharing what Prime Creative is all about, and building a steady pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
  • Driving new business growth by representing the company at local networking events and actively engaging in in person business development activities.
  • Identifying and qualifying new opportunities through outreach, referrals, and market research, then moving them through a structured sales pipeline.
  • Crafting and supporting tailored proposals, credentials decks, and pitch materials that clearly link client needs to Prime Creative's services.
  • Partnering with leadership and account services to ensure a smooth handoff from pitch to project, so new engagements are set up for success.

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or an advertising/creative agency environment (agency experience is a strong asset).
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented with a passion for business development and working toward shared targets.
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Great organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritization and multitasking.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post?secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in sales or business development is a plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
