AZ Driver

Job Title: AZ Truck Driver, Local Deliveries of Groceries

Shifts: 3:00 am start (Overtime after 50 hours)

Pay Rate: $23/hr. for Grocery DSD Deliveries + $3.00 Premium

Location: Ottawa, ON

We are currently hiring professional AZ Truck Drivers with a minimum of one year of experience for our Ottawa-based client, a company specializing in refrigerated grocery distribution. This role involves Direct Store Delivery (DSD) runs to local grocery and convenience stores throughout Ottawa and the surrounding areas. Drivers will receive premium pay for any hand bombing required, using a dolly or electric pallet jack. This is a physically demanding position and requires availability to work every second Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering to local groceries and convenience stores
• Safe operation of a 53' reefer trailer and small trailers with liftgates
• Use of a Dolly or Electric Jigger for deliveries
• Will be completing several local stops per day

Requirements:

• CVOR & Driver's Abstract printed within 30 days
• AZ driver's license
• 1 year of verifiable AZ Driving experience
• Reading, writing, and speaking English
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Criminal Record Check will be required as part of the onboarding process
• Completion of company provided online training modules (required)
