PART-TIME FACILITATOR

Facilitator Job Description

The Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick Inc has an exciting opportunity to promote and facilitate a brand-new program along with established programs In Northeastern New Brunswick.. If you enjoy working with and helping people then this may be for you.

20 hours per week with potential for increased hours.

Starting Salary $21.00 per hour with vacation pay.

Requirements:

Diploma in Youth Care or Social Service Community Worker, or equivalent experience

Valid driver's license and access to own transportation (mileage will be paid for necessary work travel)

Strong knowledge of mental illness and positive coping skills

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Bilingualism is preferred

Time management co-ordination

Experience working with computers including Microsoft Office Suite

Short and long-term planning (SMART Goals)

The successful candidate must be able to work in a team setting and independently, have the ability to conduct oral presentations, be willing to gain knowledge of SSNB programs

It would be beneficial to have previous coaching and facilitation experience and bilingualism.
