Assessor Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator
Description
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB) serves and protects the public by regulating the practice of medicine in the province. With over 25 employees, the CPSNB is currently seeking an Assessor Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator who will support CPSNB's mandate.
Key Responsibilities
The Assessor Recruitment and Orientation Coordinator will work as a collaborative team member within the assessment department at the CPSNB. The role includes assessor recruitment, planification and facilitation of orientation to ensure candidates and assessors can navigate a coordinated, informed, and culturally safe assessment process.
Below is an outline of key responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Engagement of Physician Assessors and Supervisors
- Assessor & Supervisor Training Coordination
- Orientation for Internationally Trained Physicians
- Stakeholder Coordination & Program Support
- Provide organizational support to the College as needed
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in health, administration, education, social work, public health, human resources, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in recruitment, event coordination, program administration, or stakeholder engagement within healthcare or education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently
- Proven experience working with diverse cultural groups and supporting professional integration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated commitment to fairness, transparency, equity, and public protection.
- Team player who can also work independently and take initiative
