Facility Maintenance Technician (Warehouse)
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
We're looking for a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician with solid mechanical skills and experience using tools and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with a background in maintenance, trades, or warehouse operations who enjoys problem-solving and working independently.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine cleaning and upkeep of the facility
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support equipment functionality
- Ensure the workplace remains clean, safe, and organized
- Assist with any additional maintenance-related tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in facility maintenance, general labour, or a similar role
- Comfortable using tools such as drills, saws, and other equipment
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in a trade (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, automotive, etc.) is an asset
- Valid driver's license is preferred
- Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
