TD Equipment Finance ("TDEF") is the specialized equipment financing business within TD Business Banking, providing lease and term loan solutions to Canadian businesses through both shared bank and direct customer relationships. TDEF partners closely with customers and relationship teams to deliver equipment financing solutions tailored to client needs.
Job Description
The Senior Product Analyst, Pricing & Business Initiatives supports the commercial performance of TD Equipment Finance by balancing pricing discipline, sales enablement, and reporting integrity. This role provides pricing guidance to Sales, evaluates pricing exceptions and competitive situations, and ensures alignment with internal pricing frameworks and profitability objectives.
The role is also accountable for core business reporting and analytical deliverables, supporting leadership visibility into originations, funded volumes, pipeline, and performance trends. The incumbent partners closely with Sales, Treasury, and senior leadership, contributing insights and recommendations that support informed decision?making and disciplined growth.
Accountabilities
- Act as a pricing subject matter expert, providing pricing guidance and recommendations to Sales and TDEF leadership to support growth while protecting profitability
- Review and assess pricing exception requests, including competitive context, margin impact, and alignment with internal pricing frameworks, and complete RAROC analysis or Rate Lock requests where applicable
- Monitor market conditions, competitor practices, and industry trends to inform pricing strategy and decisions
- Produce and maintain regular business performance reporting, including new originations, pipeline, and sales activity
- Contribute to and lead business initiatives and special projects, including pricing initiatives, framework reviews, and reporting or process enhancements
- Manage independent workstreams, communicate progress, and escalate risks as required
- Act as a collaborative team member, supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, finance, analytics, banking, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and sound commercial judgment
- Experience working with performance reporting, large datasets, and financial metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced, deadline?driven environment
- Comfort operating in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Sales and senior leadership
- Proven ability to work independently while building strong cross?functional relationships
