Production Supervisor

Position Scope:

As our Production Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind our daily operations and team success. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Championing Safety: Ensuring strict compliance with employee safety and food safety standards at all times.
• Driving Efficiency: Working collaboratively across all departments to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Innovating for the Future: Communicating innovative ideas that improve operational efficiencies and help reduce the organization's overall footprint.
• Empowering Your Team: Providing the strong leadership essential to manage team performance, effectively use available resources, and drive your teammates' success.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• On-site in a manufacturing environment in production operations.
• 12-hour shifts including both days and nights.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirement.
• Experience leading a group or team would be considered an asset.
• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Knowledge and experience surrounding the following would be considered an asset,
  • 5S's
  • Food Safety
  • GMP
  • HACCP
  • LOTO

Desired Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support employees in achieving performance goals. They have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively across departments to optimize production and reduce downtime. Strong problem-solving abilities, sound decision-making, and a focus on continuous improvement are essential.

They are well-organized, able to prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A strong commitment to safety and compliance is required, along with attention to detail. Physical capability to meet job demands and familiarity with systems such as 5S, GMP, HACCP, and LOTO are considered assets.
